We loved our first visit to the restaurant, where we enjoyed the BEST WILD RICE BURGERS that I want to take back to Los Angeles! The quiet ambiance, service and food earn our highest accolades. My Dad, a lifelong fisherman of walleye, said the fish was fantastic & a very large catch. The location made us feel like we were transported to another time. Bravo and thank you, all!

"We had a wonderful stay! It was a bit hard to slow down, with no WiFi, no TV and only spotty cell service but what a joy to unplug and soak in nature! The building and grounds are beautiful, but their strength is their staff! Everyone is attentive and friendly! The owner’s grandchildren are precious! The lodge is typical of other historic national park lodges, but you will delight in learning the history of the place. Highly recommend!"

The pictures drew us there, but the food was worthy of the setting. We both had soup, but I won with the French Onion. I also won with the delicious walleye sandwich. Wish we could have stayed longer. The inn tempted us also, and the staff were all courteous and helpful. I hope the owners have long lasting success.

Naniboujou Lodge offers gorgeous architecture/art, history, cuisine and the best view of Lake Superior! Delicious food, lovely rooms, and unique history of the North Shore. You can't beat the view of Lake Superior!

Stop and eat something. Even if it means splitting something. We split the cinnamon roll. It’s as big as your head and just completely amazing. 3 of us split it and it was filling
